 As we previously posted on the blog, we received all of our back ordered inventory (4 months worth) from DMC and Zweigart.....we are dyeing and shipping as fast as we can and thank you for your patience. All orders will ship by the end of the month.

Our customers are our priority. We understand some of you get impatient.....we truly understand But we are doing our best to process 600 yards of linen.....cut it, serge it, dye it and iron it! The we Dye, cut, count and tie on cards 400,000 yards of floss. We are truly working as fast as we possibly can.

If you have not received an order by the end of the month please contact us.

We are at the mercy of our suppliers and a lot of other companies are in the same position. We read of shortages all over the web.

Updates, shipments, linen and floss, oh my!

 We have received two large shipments of linen this week and have 50 bolts in assorted counts. As you may know, Zweigart in Germany had Covid  restrictions starting back last summer and cut production. With increased demand they got further behind....and are now 3-4 months behind on production. We are on the schedule to receive linen each month and we are now in a good position with linen for several months ahead for the clubs.

We have seen delays from companies all over the internet and know we are not alone in this.

Our DMC orders are arriving and we have floss for 6 months for the clubs and hope to be stocked for 12 months by January. One can never have enough floss!

We will be working fast and furious to have the November orders out by the 30th if possible.....this has been difficult for everyone and we appreciate your patience. We are all in the same boat and working together is the key. Covid cases have been very high in my area of Illinois since last spring....we have not been to a store since early March and have everything delivered. With all the autoimmune diseases I have we simply can't take a chance.

We thank you for your business during these difficult times. We are doing the best we can to provide you with our wholesale prices on linens and floss. We hope you continue your memberships through next year with us. Invoices go out each month until you cancel.

The last September orders are shipping

 The last of the September orders are shipping today. Tom and I want to thank you for your patience during this difficult time with my ankle.....it has really slowed me down and I apologize for taking longer to process orders this month. We have so many club members and we had a lot of custom orders that I have been working on.

We appreciate all of you and hope to speed up the orders next month. I am not up and running but I am up and limping! lol

New shipping schedule for September

We are shipping the last few orders for august tomorrow. SO many extra orders and new club members this month.

We will have a new shipping schedule starting with September.
We have contacted our post office and we will take 300 packages at a time, starting on the 10th, and meet them at the back door .We can leave the boxes with no contact. I think this will help a great deal and we can have all the club orders to the post office by the 15th. The extra orders for linen and floss will go out by the 20th. We are swamped each month with extra linen orders and are processing them as quickly as we can. All linens are dyed to order.

Thank you again for your patience. This pandemic has been quite an ordeal.

Still shipping for August and thank you for your patience

We are still shipping for August and we thank you for your patience. SO many postal problems these days.....good grief.
We just keep trying the best that we can during a difficult postal time.

We want to thank you.....we have received so many nice emails telling us you appreciate our efforts. We have only had a few nasty ones! lol   But I guess not everyone is patient and kind.

Thank you for sharing your postal problems with us too! Shipping from other companies that seem to have the same issues....missing packages, no tracking, sent to other cities and states....one gal said her package was headed to Canada and she lives here.

We are persistent and will continue to ship. We will continue to take good care of our loyal customers. We will continue to give you the best wholesale prices. Hopefully the post office will get it together soon.

Things that slow you down

Things that slow you down....like a 50ft tree that comes down in a storm and hits your power lines and takes out power to 25 of your neighbors. Not a good day! To say we have been busy is an understatement.
At least no one was hurt and it missed our garage and work building. What an ordeal.

Now to finish the clean up and get back to work.

July shipping

The last of the July orders are shipping and once again we thank you for your patience. We will start shipping on the 3rd of August to help with the volume of orders we are getting.

We had to put a hold on custom linen orders until the middle of next month. We are thrilled that so many of you want to try the stock colors we have and we are dyeing linen every day. Everyone loves the wholesale prices, that's for sure!

This month shipping started on the 5th  and continues through the 28-29th.

Once again I thank you for your patience. The volume of mail in the postal system really has things slowed down. I have a business associate who quit shipping her products due to all the postal problems. Lets hope all goes smoothly this month. 

And when you need to track your package please go to Paypal and track your package. Paypal send shipping notifications when we print the label for your package. We have reached a point where we can no longer take the time to track them. We are swamped with stock linen orders and filling them as fast as we can.......such a busy time right now!

Shipping dates continue through the pandemic

We are still shipping every day from the 10th through the 25th of each month for the clubs. When we went into lockdown we made the decision to continue shipping club orders to our loyal customers. This shipping schedule will continue through July but we will start shipping on the 5th to help speed orders to you.
With may new cases of the virus in Illinois....we are still in lockdown and will continue to do so. With several autoimmune diseases I cannot....and will not.....go out in public. Or make a
 run to the post office as a few have suggested. Your orders are very important to us....providing you with wholesale prices on linen and floss.  It has always been my goal to save you money with my pricing.

We stocked up on bolts of linen when the shortage was apparent and will get through until my supplier gets their delayed shipment from Germany. We purchased huge amounts of base floss from DMC to dye for the summer. We are doing all we can to provide you with quality products.

Important shipping update and problem found in Paypal

I am pleased to say we found the problem with the few missing orders in Paypal. Never happy with a problem or shipping issue but it is resolved.

On the 1st the Paypal invoices start going out at 9AM Central Time. We get the notices in waves.....maybe a hundred or more at a time. A few seconds later another hundred and so on until all the invoices have gone out and all of the email notifications come in to us.

Then payments start coming in as they are paid, again we receive the emails in waves. There was a glitch and we did not receive a small batch of notices of payments. We wait for payments to come in and there is never a need to double check hundreds of invoices.

But this month was different. We plan ahead and dye 95% of what is scheduled as there are some members who can't pay each month and we want to dye only the linens we need. Even wholesale linen is very expensive. So today when we found the error we dyed the linens for those orders and they will go out tomorrow and Monday. We apologize for this delay and hope next month will run smooth for all of us.
So if your linen or linen with floss order has not arrived yet then it was probably in this batch and will show up next week.

Next month we will start shipping on the 5th so we can have all orders out by the 25th. We have over 900 members now. Everyone loves the wholesale to the public prices.

I have had a lot of requests for new floss collections but to be very honest with you....we simply don't have the time right now. BUT what I will do is mini collections and they will be your club shipments this summer. I have a couple cute collections I think you will love. As they are finished I will show them but again, they will be for club members shipments. If you get 6 skeins a month then you will receive 1/2 of the 12 skein collection.

May shipping days extended

We will be shipping club orders all the way through the 26th of this month with the holiday on Monday and losing a shipping day with Sunday. We have added over 300 new club member this month...we will only take a few more members for now.

We are still isolated in the country and doing our best to stay safe with the pandemic.

We will start shipping club orders on the 5th of each month starting in June and go through the 20th. We still have our 75 packages a day picked up and we hope...hope that by July we will be able to take 300 packages to the post office at a time.

Thank you for your patience....I know we are till tracking a couple lost packages and have found 2 so far and they were delivered.

Ebay store is closed, you can order direct

To better assist the floss and linen club members I have temporarily closed my Ebay store. If there is something you wanted from the store you can email me direct with your order. nbelgian@aol.com

The fees are getting higher and high with Ebay....they charge tax.....don't combine orders properly and overcharge on postage....it may be time to leave them completely after 15 years.

We are very pleased....and overwhelmed....with over 100 new members in the last two days for the floss and linen clubs. Thank you one and all. We will start shipping tomorrow and every day through the 20th.

I am not sure if we will put a limit on the number of members....we will see how this goes. We are still isolated out in the country with the pandemic. Illinois is still in lockdown.

We are still working with the post office to find out what happened with 5 packages that were picked up....they assured me they will eventually get scanned and delivered as the mail is running slow with the high volume. Stock linen colors

The lighting wasn't as good as I had hoped but I wanted to show a photo so you can see the stock linen colors. Far left is Antique Sampler, middle is Vintage Sampler and right is Parchment. They are a little darker than what I see on my monitor.....the mottling is very nice on them and I can hardly keep up with orders. Several ladies asked me to post a picture after my previous post earlier today.

I will continue to add more stock colors, some with stronger mottling and colors. So many of you like the neutral sampler linens so these were my first selections.

I can dye 28, 32, 36, 40 and 46ct Zweigart linen for these colors.

We are still shipping around 75 packages each day. The last of the club shipments will go out in the next few days.

In these daily 75 packages are also Ebay orders that have to go out within 24 hours to keep my good rating. So these are stressful times to say the least.....and we are doing our best to get everyone's orders mailed out as quickly as we can.

Thank you to all of the stitchers on Flosstube showing my floss and linen. Linen.....over 200 extra orders for the new stock colors Antique Sampler and Parchment this month. This month's new stock color is Vintage Sampler. I will slowly add stock colors, not sure how many I will do. The limited edition club colors keep me busy.

So you can see how we are trying to get ALL of these orders processed and shipped for you. We are confined to home, avoiding all contact and at the mercy of my slow post office to pick up packages.

Club shipments during the pandemic

The club shipments started going out on the 10th and will continue through the 22nd. I ship around 75 packages each day, giving them to my mail carrier since I don't leave the house during this pandemic. I have several auto immune diseases and can't take any chances.

Since my mail carrier has to scan each first class package I can only give them 75 per day.....and they complain about it constantly. Drives me crazy. I simply can't give them 700 packages in one day.
