It's almost that time of year here in the states......our traditional Thanksgiving on the 4th Thursday in November. The date this year is the 24th and I am having my usual Be Ye Thankful give-away to celebrate. Since the original day was a celebration of the harvest....I like to celebrate a harvest of friends! And I am very thankful for each and every one of you.
I thought I would put together a nice selection of goodies to surprise one lucky winner. So you will have to wait and see what it is! These surprises usually have a value of $50 or more as I like to include a nice selection. You can suggest what you would like...floss, fabric (linen or aida), charts, motto kit, etc.....but first you have to tell me what you are thankful for!
I am always thankful for many things....my wonderful family that surrounds me.....the blessings I have received...and the friends and followers I have met which is the best part of this business. From all over the world I have met the nicest group of people that I enjoy chatting and sharing with.
The give-away will be on the 22nd of November as I will be very busy on the holiday.

Wow! I could write a book! LOL So many things to be grateful for....my salvation, my husband and kiddos, health and enough finances to feed them and clothe them....the list would go on and on. I'm thankful, too, for living in this great country with all of its present problems, and for the technology that allows all of us to "know" and "talk to" each other across the miles and the continents! Thank you for your generosity, too! Happy, happy Thanksgiving!

ReplyDeleteA wonderful giveaway.... I am thankful to be alive, after getting multiple blood clots in both lungs, it was touch and go. Thankfully I got better and stronger, but have to take life long blood thinner injections to stay well. Having an experience like this touched me in some way and made me think about lots of things.. So I am very thankful of the many happy wonderful people who come in and out of my life, sharing experiences and living is what I enjoy to do now! Life is precious but enriched so much when shared with others. Have a lovely happy smiley thanksgiving :)

We have endured crushing losses together under horrific circumstances: My mother-in-law, my father, friends, and even two cherished pets. My husband and I were blessed to be able to adopt our first child when we couldn't have any children. Such a wonderful boy!!! So giving and loving. Yes, we had our bumps in the road when he reached puberty, but he worked through it as well as we did. But the reminders of what we have come everyday. We about lost him to a violent crime last year this time. He was attacked in a parking lot, stabbed 4 times, and was losing his life. God saved him by all the right services in place at the right time. Praise God for His Grace and His Mercy! And now I thank Him for our son again too. As I said-I have countless blessings and this is only one of them. Thank you Nancy for letting me share one of them!

ReplyDeleteI do quite often read the comments. I like to know what other people thing, and it helps me to examine my position on things. I sometimes even change my mind! But not often. LOL Thanks so much for a wonderful giveaway. I'm very thankful for all the usual things, such as family, country and God's love, but I was thinking the other day how blessed I was to be born where I was and when I was. I got to grow up in a great time, in a world where I was pretty safe, and pretty unworried about the big world. There was a lot of innocence, and I had a mother who stitched so beautifully! All the best things in life were mine and I'm grateful for that background, because it keeps me positive and growing even today, MANY years later. Happy Thanksgiving!

ReplyDeleteI have so many things to be grateful for but I would say the biggest would be my family. Not just my immediate family but my in-laws as well. I am very very fortunate to have such a kind and understanding extended family. I grew up knowing just my brother, mom and dad. I wanted a large family so bad and never had it. My husband has a small immediate family but cousins and aunts and uncles that he grew up with. I am so so thankful that they have welcomed me with open arms and now I feel like I have the big family I have always wanted and for that I am eternally grateful!
ReplyDeleteHave a very happy thanksgiving! Thanks for doing these giveaways! I am thankful for my health.

ReplyDeleteI am so very thankful for my family - children and grandchildren especially because they bring such joy into my life. They bring their share of sorrow and heartacke as well, but that is overshadowed by the shear amount of joy. I am also thankful for God taking care of all my needs. I have health, home, job, food, and love ones - what more could I ask for?
ReplyDeleteI am so grateful for my husband who loves me flaws and all. I am forever thankful to the young couple who took me on as a teenager and became my second parents. I am thankful that all I have is all I need.

My oldest son and his family are coming up to spend Thanksgiving/celebrate grandkids birthdays, Whitney, Mason and Ian. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!
ReplyDeleteYou know what inspires me? All the comments from such loving, grateful people! I swear, there are more comments on this subject than others that I've read. I, too, am thankful for faith, family, and friends, for little Tilly, our cairn terrier, who even in old age delights us, for work for my hands, and so much else. In spite of having lived in chronic pain (due to congenital issues) all my life, I still find things to be grateful for, even on the hardest days. Often, just looking out the window at the birds gives my faith wings to fly. If God cares for them, does he not care for us? Many thanks for all who have shared their thankful hearts. Reading the comments was like being at a prayer meeting with friends (with generous Nancy at the helm!).
