The holiday season is here.....and so are the Gift Certificates.
And you get a 10% discount when you purchase your Gift Certificate! For instance....you pay $45 and your Gift Certificate is for $50. Any amounts available. I can mail a hard copy or send as an attachment to an email to you or direct to your friend for a Christmas present with a message from you.

Floss Club Updates

We are quickly approaching the end of the year....how fast this year has gone by.......and if you joined the floss club in January then December will be your last shipment unless you renew. I am doing the floss clubs (Limited and Primitive Limited Editions) through June of 2018. I may decide to continue it through until December of 2018, we will see how it goes. It is fun dyeing new colors each month. The only challenge has been coming up with 24 new names each month!
My work load was greatly reduced with my 3 elves carding floss for me.....I could not do all of this without them! They were truly Heaven sent.

If you need to change your subscription, please let me know as soon as possible. A big thank you to those of you who have renewed and to the new club members.

The Linen Club will continue until further notice. You can join any of the clubs at any time, month to month, or auto ship each month. Any size or count or mix it up.

Happy Thanksgiving, we have a winner today!!

I want to wish everyone a very Happy Thanksgiving. A very special holiday if you are here in the states. I think all of us could have a special day each year to be thankful for all that we have.

I am thankful for all of you. Faithful Friends, followers, kindred spirits......who allow me to be a small part of your life and share what I have to offer. Friendship. Giving. Caring. My love of needlework and sharing floss, fabric, designs and trims.

I truly enjoy my give-aways as I get to share with many of you. I wish I could send everyone a present and if I live long enough then maybe...just maybe..... I will get to do just that.

It's A Wonderful Life movie tribute in stitches

It's A Wonderful Life is one of my favorite movies, especially at Christmas.
I was contacted by the gentleman who has a traveling museum about the movie and he attends showings at movie theatres across the country. He wanted me to chart the saying (and one of my favorites that I have used all my life)....All you can take with you is that which you've given away. He wanted it exactly as it is shown in the movie when George Bailey is in the Bailey Building and Loan and he is talking to his father. I only had a small photo to go from...a clip from the movie. I charted, stitched and framed the piece and donated it to the traveling museum. Then I was asked by the It's A Wonderful Life Museum in Seneca Falls to provide charts for them to sell in the gift shop. This is the theme they are going to focus on this year when they have their December celebration of the movie with original cast members. Three of the young children from the movie attend the yearly celebration in Seneca Falls.

I have named the chart The Gift. An enduring message and a good example of how to live......
I was also asked to duplicate the antique motto that is seen in one the scenes in the movie......The Lord Will Provide. The museum will also carry these motto kits for sale.

It was my pleasure to provide these items for the museum and as soon as they have the charts listed in the online gift shop I will show you the link if you would like to purchase one. The donation will help the museum keep this movie tradition going.

These are the fun parts of this business. Providing mottoes for all occasions.....to remember someone, a favorite family saying, etc. I have done quite a few custom mottoes in the past 13 years. I lost count after 200. Family names and favorite sayings were the most popular. A few cute ones.....a few silly ones that were given to make someone smile. Sad ones to remember a lost loved one. But all of them were important and it was my pleasure to be a part of them.

Be Ye Thankful give-away, enter now!

It's almost that time of year here in the states......our traditional Thanksgiving on the 4th Thursday in November. The date this year is the 23rd and I am having my usual Be Ye Thankful give-away to celebrate. Since the original day was a celebration of the harvest....I like to celebrate a harvest of friends! And I am very thankful for each and every one of you.

I thought I would put together a nice selection of goodies to surprise one lucky winner. So you will have to wait and see what it is! These surprises usually have a value of $50 or more as I like to include a nice selection. You can suggest what you would like...floss, fabric (linen or aida), charts, motto kit, etc.....but first you have to tell me what you are thankful for!
 I am always thankful for many things....my wonderful family that surrounds me.....the blessings I have received...and the friends and followers I have met which is the best part of this business. From all over the world I have met the nicest group of people that I enjoy chatting and sharing with.

Floss Club Updates

I have a few updates for the Floss Clubs.
I will continue the Limited and Primitive Limited Edition Clubs through most of 2018. Unless health issue change and I will notify you.

I will be listing singles from the Limited Editions and the Primitive Limited Editions in the ebay store. Regular pricing of $2.45 per skein. That way if you liked a certain color you can purchase more of it. Most of the colors after March are still available in limited numbers. You can email me an order at any time as I appreciate direct sales to save on the ebay fees.

First I want to thank all of you who just finished your 12 months with me. That was a lot of floss!! LOL
If you joined last December for the Ultimate Club, 12 skeins per month, then your last shipment will go out in November. There are 144 skeins in that collection at this time. I may add a few more next year; I added dark browns, a parchment color and a dark purple by request and those are in the November shipment.
If you received 6 skeins per month in the Ultimate Club, then you are 1/2 way through the collection.
New Limited and Primitive Limited Editions are still being dyed each month.

If you pre-paid for 12 months last December for any of the 3 clubs, then your last shipment will be in November.

Invoices will to out on the 1st.

If you do not receive an invoice by late afternoon, and you would like to continue with any of the clubs, then please send me an email. nbelgian@aol.com.

If you receive a Paypal invoice and you have decided to leave the club, then simply cancel the request and we will remove you from the list. Occasionally a name is not marked off the list for the ending month of a subscription.

If you would like to extend your current subscription please send me an email.

If you would like to join for 6 or 12 skeins each month then send me an email.

I want to thank the new members who have signed up for the clubs.
This is a lot of work but it is a lot of fun coming up with beautiful new colors each month. And a BIG thank you to those of you who have finished your subscriptions.

Birthday Club and Linen Club winners today

We have a few lucky winners today. I was extremely busy yesterday with invoices, packing, and printing shipping labels. It now takes 15 hours to do all 4 clubs. I want to thank all of you for joining and making all of this possible.

Did you get your club invoice today?

All of the club invoices have gone out this morning. For all three floss clubs and the new linen club.

Thank you for such a great response. I will show an updated photo of the limited edition linen colors tomorrow. Half of the linen in the previous photos has been sold.

Limited Edition Linen Colors

Here are a few of the linen colors I am dyeing....I like the limited editions....a one time color....grab it while you can.....but I will also carry stock colors. Sometimes I dye the first color base and then customize it when I am ready. A rose tine....yellow or amber tint, etc.
These are the basic light colors. Antique Champagne is a light yellowed cream with mottling.  I still need to photograph that one. Second photo shows the Mottled Cream and Victorian Rose Blush.  Here are some of the others: Top left fabric is a light cream parchment. Nice if you like a white/cream fabric.

Third and fourth photos shows some of the limited edition 1/8 and 1/4 pieces available in 32ct.

 

Nest we have some of the limited edition pieces in 36ct

And last we have some smaller pieces in 40ct.

These are so much nicer in person. You can see the mottling/shading better. But unless you come visit me...you will just have to select from the photos. LOL

Hand Dyed Linen Colors and club info

It has been a very busy week with boxing floss for the 3 clubs and now the hand dyed linen club. I had hoped to show pictures of the linen colors yesterday but personal things got in the way. I will show some linen on Saturday. Then if you would like to add any to your floss club order I can add it to the invoice. I will have several colors available in 28, 32, 36 and 40ct.
 
Invoices for the floss clubs will go out on Sunday. If you have any changes please let me know as soon as possible.

The pre-paid (for the year) shipments have gone out today since the floss was ready to ship.

I was asked if I use cold water dyes or hot. I use hot. And the linen is heat set with a 400 degree press.

New linen, and some Floss and Linen club questions for you

It has been a very busy month with lots of linen going out to new customers. Thank you very much. I will be adding stock colors  soon.
I dyed two colors for the Linen Club for October. A basic mottled cream and a Victorian Blush which is a cream with a very slight mottled rose tint. See second photo. (shown are 36 and 40ct but I will do these in 32 and 28ct too) I may do a small sampler on this linen soon. I think the basic mottled cream will be great with other tints as well.

If you want to join the linen or floss clubs you can join at any time during the month for 1 month, 3 months, 6 months,  or auto ship each month until you decide to cancel.

*****IMPORTANT:
 If your floss club membership is expiring please let me know if you want to continue this month as I will be sending out invoices on the first for all the clubs.
***You can also switch from floss to the linen club. I have had several do this since they have a huge assortment of hand dyed floss from the club.

I purchased 28 count linen this month and will begin dyeing it this week and is available for the October club shipment. Mottled cream, Victorian Rose, Autumn Browns, Parchment, etc. I will try to do a list of colors available in all counts soon.
Fat 1/8 is $9
Fat 1/4 is $19
Fat 1/2 is $39
Full yards available upon request and vary from $70-75 per yard.
