Santa Nancy, you are truly the best! I have been doing this for several years now and it is truly one of the highlights of the holiday season. I have never won, but the comments, prizes, and winners and their comments are wonderful. Thank you for your sharing and generosity. I have never tried your flosses or linen, but I would love to someday. I recently received a rather large gift card for a local store. I had planned to use the card to buy groceries so I could use the money saved on gifts for family and to treat myself. I am a disabled single mom so making ends meet can be nearly impossible this time of year, even harder than usual. My doctor also decided to change some meds as I was having a hard time with Raynauds (I can often not feel my fingers so my needle constantly comes unthreaded or is dropped) and pain management (walking or even getting out of bed has been a challenge way too long). This has been really rough and I have hardly left the house unless I need to. But my daughter asked about taking something for the food bank food drive challenge her school was doing. This is her last year at the school before she starts high school, so her class really wanted to win. She brought a list and schedule of what to take on what day. We didn't really have any or much of the needed items. So we talked about it and decided other people needed to benefit from the gift card more than us. So we went shopping. Over the duration of the drive, almost the entire card was used for hard to get food, personal care, etc items.
