I wanted to do a tribute to sisters everywhere......and this collection is my tribute. Filled with beautiful soft colors to stitch your own memories. I am sure you have noticed some of my unusual names for floss. Meaningful names. Like Best Friends, Forever in my Heart, Guardian Angel, Stitching Together, Summer Playhouse, Hopscotch, Memory Quilt, Favorite Dolly, Everlasting Flowers, Easter Bonnets, Tea Party and Favorite Flowers. A few of the memories I have of my sisters, my Guardian Angels, and maybe some of yours.

I sat by watching so many Flosstube hosts showing your beautiful floss collections, I finally took the plunge and I haven't been disappointed. So we truly are a Sisterhood (and Brotherhood too).

ReplyDeleteLove the colors and the sentiment! I have 4 sisters and a brother. Yes we had our own living doll to play with when Mom let us. We sisters use to take a couple days off and visit, giggle, and just have fun. We called it Sisterfest. Always had t-shirts made. Oldest sister isn't in good health so now we go visit her in at assisted living. Hope to see her in July. Thanks Nancy for the chance to have some of your wonderful threads!

ReplyDeleteI had two sisters, I was the middle sister. Unfortunately my older sister, Sharon, succumbed to her breast cancer when it returned. Breast Cancer is something we all share, but our form is not hereditary, it is estrogen loving. This comment is both to ask everyone to get their regular mammogram and I would like to be considered for the give away. One thing about my sisters and I that everyone says is that we were so very different and independent people. Like the colors in the collection, they are different but fit together.
