The Old Spinning Wheel and Southern Appalachian Wildflower sets

Two beautiful new collections will be ready soon. I was asked to show a few pictures of the colors. I have these two collections ready to card (they will get sent out this week) and here they are:

The Old Spinning Wheel. One of my favorite VERY old songs.....

There's an old spinning wheel in the parlor
Spinning dreams of the long, long ago
Spinning dreams of an old fashioned garden
and a maid with her old fashioned beau.

I love that song! Every time I start humming it I think I should do a nice collection of floss....so I finally did.
These are the colors:
Lamplight Spinning, Hand Dyed Fibers, Country Linens, Lamb's Wool, Hand Spun, Primitive Fibers, Spinning Wheel, Loom Shuttle, Shepherd's Crook, Antique Loom, Carding Wool and Cottage Yarn.

I will hold 10 sets back for me to card and send the rest out to be done. You can preorder now. The first 10 can go out in a few days or be mailed with your floss club shipment on the 1st. The rest will be ready in 3 weeks.
I will be printing, cutting and drilling cards all day for 5 collections. That's 1320 cards for each collection and 26,400 yards of floss for each collection. 6600 cards and 132,000 yards of floss. Thank goodness I have 3 helpers carding for me now.

The next collection is the Southern Appalachian Wildflowers. There were so many to choose from! I could do a hundred collections of these! Of course we will do just one for now. There are so many other collections I want to get to.
Here are the 12 I selected:
Wake Robin, Catesby's Trillium, Beardtongue, Downy Lobelia, Bluestar, Smooth Rockcress, Fern Frond, Gray's Lily, Flame Azalea, Indian Paintbrush, Columbine, and Southern Red Trillium.

I will do the same for these. I will hold 10 sets back for me to card and send the rest out to be done. You can preorder now. The first 10 can go out in a few days or be mailed with your floss club shipment on the 1st. The rest will be ready in 3 weeks.

These are $27.99 plus postage. nbelgian@aol.com to reserve yours now. I do require payment with preorders. Makes things simple.

AND......on the drying rack I have Farmhouse Memories. I might be able to get a picture later today to show you those.

I am still dyeing floss for the Penny Candy Collection, Primitive Browntones and Let Me Call you Sweetheart. After those are done I will do Cactus Flowers and The General Store Collection. I have 3 more after those...but you will have to wait! LOL  We have to save some for a surprise.

Back to work....it is going to be a very long day....week....month....year.....lol

  10. Lovely colors! My big sister does not stitch, but she has an endearing appreciation for my stitching and the time it takes to do it. Thanks for another chance to win some of your beautiful floss.
