I added a few new colors to the floss inventory in my ebay store this morning. I try to add new colors on a regular basis....and then comes the challenge to fit all this ever-growing inventory in one house. Several rooms and a basement full....and we already added on to the house to double the size. Maybe I need to add on another whole house!
Back to colors...I added a set of Sweet Potatoes (3 slightly different colors), a new Sage, A Variegated Peach Melba, A Medium Pine Green, A very Dark Variegated Pine Green, a Deep Woods Yellow and Purple Passion.
I have been dyeing more new colors that I will list next week after I get them back from being counted and tied on cards. I used to do that in the beginning and I soon realized that there was NO way I had time to sit and count floss for 8 hours at a time. Besides that, I am not supposed to do it because it makes my hands hurt worse than they do (if that is possible). If the doctor tells me one more thing that I can't do I may bop him on the head!
I am just about caught up on hand carved frame orders that will go out later this week and what a relief to have those out of the way. Now I can focus on some new ribbon trims I am dyeing. I want to use several of these for finishes so stay tuned for that. Sounds like another give-away in the making............
Thanks for stopping by.

Hi Nancy, its funny what you said about your doctor :)) your threads look so lovely, take care, yuana
ReplyDeleteLove your new colours!
ReplyDeleteLove the new colors! I need to get my L*K Halloween Rules out and see what else I need to convert and get some colors ordered from you - one of those Sweet Potatoes would work GREAT in it!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful new colors, Nancy!
ReplyDeleteI'm willing to bet that bopping your doc on the head is one more thing on your "don't list". ;-)
Oh, I like those greens! And the peach...and the sweet potatoes...
ReplyDeleteLove the new colors Nancy! If the Dr. gives you any more restrictions let us know. We will help with the bopping :-)
ReplyDeleteTake care!
Great new shades! If I had to choose, I think I'd say my favorite is purple passion, but then again, maybe it would be... :o)
ReplyDeleteI will have to send you an order for some of the greens, I need some to try out. They look great as do all of them actually! Glad you are getting some relief for your hands, take care of YOU!
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to seeing what else you come up with.

ReplyDeleteoooo gorgeous new colours :) can't wait to see every thing else now :) love mouse xxxxx
ReplyDeleteOh to live a little closer to you Nancy....We'd all pitch in and count, fold, and fix those floss cards right up,....Just to be able to see all your lovely shades......! LOVE the new colors...very fallish and sure to be winners...
ReplyDeleteTake care of yourself my friend! Faye
Now you know Faye that we would have WAY too much fun and never get any work done! But what a lovely thought.......and we have enough floss here to make a big pile and jump into it just like when we were kids! Just roll around in the floss like every floss-a-holic would like to do.
DeleteBeautiful colors, Nancy!! Can't wait to incorporate them into my sewing. Like Faye, I think it would be grand to pitch in and get those floss cards done for you!
ReplyDeleteYou gals are so sweet....but I know there would be more fun than work!
ReplyDeletelovely new colours Nancy x
ReplyDeletegorgeous colours Nancy, love them all x
ReplyDeleteVery pretty ;)
ReplyDeleteYou know, I never even thought about the "process" until you mentioned it - yes, the dyeing of course, but counting it all - ick. Glad you have some "assistance" in that department.
ReplyDeleteAnd while you're bopping, wanna bop mine as well??? I've already had surgery on both hands/wrists, and the past months, my right hand and arm have gone almost completely numb. And all I get told is what NOT to do. :o(( Smiles & Sympathy Hugs ~ Robin
