25 Days of Christmas! First give-away, enter now!

I am always happy to have the 25 Days of Christmas here at The Victorian Motto Sampler Shoppe. It is my chance to give back to all my faithful customers and followers.

Santa Nancy has a lot of gifts to give and we will all have lots of fun. Fabrics, floss, trims, sampler charts, etc.

Lets start with The 1st Day of Christmas. On December 1st I will announce the winner.
The first prize is the stitching fabric of your choice. I will have 6 different colors of 32ct hand dyed linen to choose from, 1/2 yard pieces (30x36"). If you don't stitch on linen I will have some smaller pieces of Aida, Fiddlers Cloth, etc. You will receive two smaller pieces of these other fabrics, and I will have several shades to choose from.
I will have 6 days of giving fabric as prizes so keep entering each give-away.

Jingle as Ye Enter sampler chart give-away, enter now!

It's never too early to start with the Christmas give-aways. Yes we will have the 25 days of Christmas at The Motto Shoppe this year too....so be sure to enter each separate give-away.

This was my Jingle as Ye Enter wall hanging and bonus ornament chart. The chart pack sold in my ebay store comes with the overdyed floss and all the bells, large and small, to complete the wall hanging. You will need backing fabric and a hanging ribbon of your choice. The Decorating the Tree is a companion kit and it comes with the overdyed floss and bells, along with the cotton twill hanger. Lets give a couple of those away too!

I think we all have a lot to be thankful for....I know I do. I am blessed in so many ways and it is always a pleasure to share with the stitching community. The holidays will be upon us before we know it. I thought I would call this the "Be Ye Thankful" give-away.

New samplers framed, LOTS of pictures!

Since my grandsons are grown I have been skipping the Halloween decorations. I always decorate for Christmas on November 1st but this year I decorated early. I had a great visit from some Kansas stitchers....great friends...and I surprised them by decorating for Christmas early. I still have the tree to put up and a few more things but most of it is done. I thought I would explain that before I show a few pictures of some of my framed samplers...so you didn't think I had gone off the deep end!
      These new samplers go great on the walls of my office/workroom. It was the old living room in our house until we remodeled. I have lot of windows and I love all the light in this room...until you try to snap a picture of a sampler with glass on it. I did my best to avoid the glare.

The Home Sweet Home in reds was stitched a couple years ago and when one of the gals saw it she loved it so I printed charts for it. It also says Be it ever so humble, there's no place like home. It is stitched in variegated DMC, I selected the darker parts of the floss for certain areas and like the way it turned out. Fits an 11x14 frame and is shown 18(36ct).

The Welcome Spring I put into a beautiful antique hand carved frame. It fit perfect....just like it was made for it. It fits a 16 x 20" frame.

Halloween Sampler chart give-away enter now!

Another Sampler is finished.....My Witch's Brew. Perfect little sampler size, stitched on 32ct antique champagne linen (my own) and finished size measures 7 x 9 and will fit any 8 x 10 frame! Yes I planned that one......I hope to have my framed tomorrow.

Youth's Flowery Season Sampler is finished and a chart give-away

Another Sampler is FINALLY finished....I had to have another model stitcher complete this one when a gal couldn't finish it. So it is finally done and ready to be framed. This is Youth's Flowery Season. Stitched on my Antique Champagne 32ct Belgian linen with DMC floss. I chose DMC because it is so readily available for stitchers in most countries. Finished size is 16" x 19".

Beautiful gifts from friends

I have been blessed in many ways....the best way is all of the wonderful friends I have made through this business. Friends all over the world and I treasure each and every one of them.

I received a beautiful stitched sewing pocket from Maggee. She said this is the first one she has made and it is beautiful! Thank you so much Maggee!!

The next day I received a package from France from Christine. Lots of little treasures! A post card from Toulouse, also known as the pink city because of all of the houses built with pink bricks. Also included were some  floss samples, a wood button, a ceramic dress form, hand made tags, a violet flower wooden button, some antique trim, a monogram of my initial and a gorgeous antique thread card winder! Thank you so much Christine!

I really needed the pick-me-up as I haven't been feeling very well and these gifts from treasured friends did the trick. As I said....I am blessed......

Once again I have been super busy and absent from blogging.
