  12. I am thankful that 9 weeks ago a family lovingly said goodbye to their son and donated his organs to others. My husband received one of this young man's lungs and is now doing remarkably well. He was on death's door and the generosity of this family (whom we do not know) saved his life. For this I am truly thankful!!

  143. I am Thankful to recognize talent when I see it and you my friend have talent. What a beautiful display of colour! Of course, there are many things to consider when listing what one may be thankful for and so many of the little things are taken for granted. Colour for instance, we assume when one says red, blue, yellow etc that we all instantly think of the primary colours as we were taught in primary school. As we grow and learn and as with every aspect of our lives we can see so many different shades/facets of one colour/word/action. So to be able to see a variation as open as your palette is one of life's great enjoyments. Cheers

I am very thankful for my growing family. My son and his wife just had two little twin girls three weeks ago and two days ago, on my birthday, my middle daughter announced that she and her significant other are expecting in May. Wonderful news. This week my youngest grandson will be here for about a week. He lives across the country and I don't get to see him that often.

I am thankful for the fact that my spouse is still here and mostly functioning well after having had 2 craniotomies for subdural hematomas when he fell off a ladder! It has been a rough time to get to this point, and it is not done yet, but God is faithful and has answered our prayers because He loves us ALL! Big Hugs!
