Special Christmas in July Sale!

I had an email from a follower......she was a "little" irate with me......she missed the sale I had on the 1795 Sampler Floss Collection.....she missed it by one day......and she said she thought I should have had the sale posted for a longer period of time because a lot of people don't get to read all the blogs they follow on a regular basis....and you know I try to help all I can.....so here is my apology to anyone who missed the sale....by one day or not.....

So......if you want to purchase the 1795 Sampler Floss Collection, I will send ****DOUBLE**** free floss equal to your postage. So if you are in the states you would receive 6-7 free skeins (my choice) instead of 3-4. If you are International you would receive 16-18 skeins instead of 8-10. All depends on your postage. So how's that for an apology??
Lets run the sale for the rest of July. An early Christmas present to those of you who want to purchase the set. You must purchase direct and not through ebay to get this offer.

   I thought I would have a special sale to help with high (and ever increasing) postage costs. So....if you purchase the Complete 1795 Sampler Floss Collection (80 (20 yard)skeins, 1600 yards, $156.00) , DIRECT FROM ME and not on ebay, I will send extra floss equal to your postage cost. If you are in the states I mail Priority mail, around $6-8. So you would get 3-4 extra skeins of floss (different from the 1795 collection/some nice antique shades made just for this offer).
I will run this sale through June 30th.


   Lets say you are in The Netherlands, UK  or Germany....postage on first class is $16.74. You would receive 8 extra skeins of floss! 160 yards of stitching treasure.

I have so many blogs on my reader that I do not comment often, but when I read this, I simply could not believe someone could be upset, let alone irate, because they missed a sale. You are so nice and I really hope this person appreciates it!

  3. A while ago, after your initial sale/raffle, I couldn't help myself and bought the complete set of the 1795 Sampler flosses, and I have to say to all your readers: They are just gorgeous!!! LOVE them so much, and fondling all those beautiful colors is as much fun as stitching with them. THANK YOU!!!

  4. I think you are a lovely person. Personally if you miss the sale tough cookies: you can have updates from your blog sent via technology so it seems a bit harsh that she was irrate with you. A bit rude really but Im British: we love manners obsessively rofl

    You have always been the epitome of giving and I just can't understand people like that. I'm sure you strive very hard to make your customers happy ~ shame on her!!

  11. Oh, my, Nancy! You always give so much and are always MORE than fair....I just can't imagine anyone being upset with you! We have all missed a sale before, but I don't know anyone that ever complained that it was someone else's fault by their own. Guess it takes all kinds!
    I will say THANK YOU for being so generous once again.
    I have this collection and it is outstanding. I love each and every one of the colors.

At first I felt bad.....then I told her I would post this on my blog so others could get the sale....then she emailed because she didn't like what my followers were writing.....if you notice I lost a follower this week....her! lol...And yes I hope she enjoys all that free floss......with knots! And I never told who she was.......
